How to move funds to Cronos chain

📌 Adding Cronos (CRO) Network to MetaMask

Visit chainlist.org and search for Cronos to add the Cronos network RPC to your MetaMask wallet.

There are currently 4 ways to bridge funds to Cronos chain. We recommend using the second method if you want to send funds to Cronos chain from other EVMs (like Ethereum, BSC, Fantom etc):

#1.-crypto.com-defi-wallet-method (needs Crypto.com account)

#2.-evo-bridge-defi-method(most recommended method, supports any major EVM network)

#3.-keplr-to-cronos-bridge-method (many steps needed, but good liquidity)

#4.-elk.finance-method (slippage is high)

1. Crypto.com Defi Wallet Method

  1. Open the Crypto.com Defi Wallet App, and click the Buy Now button at the bottom

2. Make sure your Crypto.com app is connected to your Defi Wallet app, once this is complete your account will be enabled for card purchases directly through the Defi Wallet app.

3. Click on USDC Coin

4. Make sure CRC20 is toggled. This will ensure that the USDC youre purchasing to swap for Pegasus $SUS will be on the correct network.

4. Select the amount of USDC you want to purchase. Also purchase a few bucks of $CRO for gas. Every transaction that you make in your wallet will use 20-50c worth of $CRO to pay off the validators.

After you've successfully purchased your USDC and CRO, you can either interact with Pegasus or Cronaswap directly, or you can send your funds off to Metamask. It's all based on your personal preference. We think the defi wallet app is more user friendly for beginners!

2. Evo Bridge Defi Method

EvoDefi offers probably the easiest way to get stablecoins (USDC, USDT) bridged over to Cronos from any other popular network (BSC, FTM, AVAX, etc.)

  1. Enable the network you're bridging from and preselect the stable coin you'd like to bridge.

  2. Chose the destination network (Cronos)

  3. Copy & Paste your address in the recipient window.

  4. Select the amount you want to bridge. Viola!

3. Keplr to Cronos Bridge Method

This method involves an exchange the has COSMOS ($ATOM) main net network withdrawals enabled. Our exchanges of choice for this method are Kucoin and Binance

4. Elk.finance Method

Using this method you can bridge funds from Bincance Smart Chain (BSC), Fantom (FTM) and a few other EVM chains to Cronos chain by buying the Elk token and bridging it over to Cronos.

We will show here how to bridge funds from BSC to Cronos. The process is the same for the other chains.

  1. Switch your Metamask network to BSC and go to https://app.elk.finance/#/swap

2. Buy $Elk with your BSC funds:

3. Go to https://app.elk.finance/#/elknet and bridge your $ELK from BSC to Cronos. Make sure to enable the "Swap $ELK 1 for gas" option. This will swap 1 $ELK to Cro for gas. Wait a few minutes until your Elk on BSC is bridged to Cronos network.

4. Switch your Metamask to Cronos Chain, go to https://app.elk.finance/#/swap?inputCurrency=ELK and swap $Elk for $Cro.

5. If you want to swap your $Cro for USDC it is best to use https://app.cronaswap.org/ because they have more liquidity than elk.finance
